Marple Band, superbly led by their MD Nick Birch put on a great free concert at Marple Sports Club on Sunday afternoon.
The audience enjoyed an entertaining afternoon of film themes from the 1960’s all the way to the 2000’s ranging from Death of a Princess from the film Braveheart to Star Wars and Born Free.
A super afternoon was enjoyed by everyone who attended. Next year music from musicals perhaps? Watch this space.
