The Marple Band enters various competitions throughout the year, including the Whit Friday March Contests, Dewsbury Annual Open and Buxton Brass Band Festival. They also perform at many local events, including Remembrance Sunday, the Buxton Bandstand Concert and Marple Carnival. During the Christmas period, The Marple Band can be seen performing at various locations, such as Winter Wonderland, Marple Santa Dash and outside local pubs and supermarkets.
