Marple’s First Prize to Steal Silverware from Yorkshire!
The Marple Band is delighted to have won the best Second Section Band at the Morley March and Hymn Tune Contest on Sunday 17th June. We came away with 1st prize in Second Section, with a nice, shiny piece of silverware. We were also placed 3rd band overall, making our trip across the border to Yorkshire a huge success. Thanks to all our supporters who went on the day.
